We are currently looking for people interested in writing Fanfic for the short-stories portion of our Website for HERO-LORE (www.herolore.cjb.net), an in-the-works comic book series. We hope to generate interest and mutual exposure through this process. There is no pay involved, it is simply a means of flexing creative muscles, as it were, and helping create awareness not only of Hero-Lore, its universe and diverse characters, but also of any writers or illustrators who may wish to submit their work to this webpage along with any contact information or weblinks.
If you think you may be interested, you can learn more about HERO-LORE and its characters and concepts by visiting www.herolore.cjb.net, and its subsequent info pages, including the STORY pages (http://www.pulpvisionmedia.com/hero/hlstory.html) and the AD for Short Story Fanfic (http://www.pulpvisionmedia.com/hero/hlstoryad.html).
Details: Fanfic welcome!
If a story or premise is well-written and may fit into our ongoing continuity of Hero-Lore, we'll help you (should editing or continuity issues arise) develope the story into a finished state that enriches the Hero-Lore saga.
-Stories can be as long as you want. Two paragraphs, two pages, two hundred thousand words, its your call!
-Finished, accepted works become the property of the Hero-Lore website, and the copyright thereof. www.herolore.cjb.net
Again, there is no pay, but pertinent contact info or weblinks are welcome with any e-published art or stories.
Thanks for your interest, and I hope to hear from you soon. Enjoy the site!
Sincerely,
?

Hero-Lore currently has two printed issues awaiting distribution, be it self-promoted/sold or by the series being picked up by another publisher and then distributed. I'm working on several future issues (I'm mostly a one-man team, but there are other collaborators, including Star Wars/Star Trek author Daryl F. Mallett) and still feeling my way through the industry to find out what the best possible future outlet may be. In the meantime I am trying to generate interest, exposure, and creativity by accepting short stories based within the Hero-Lore universe for the official website. Some of the details for the short story submissions are below. If you have any further questions, comments or suggestions, please feel free to drop me a line. In the meantime I hope that you might consider writing a tale for my site, or at the very least that I will hear from you again.
Best,
?
